This whole week I was so busy, I was never busy like that in my life before. Only board exam days can be somewhat compared. I didn’t have time to leave computer for a minute to take out time for relaxing. Almost three big websites were developed, one dating site a video sharing site like Youtube and a blog. Blog seems to be easy but as the theme was made by me (quick n dirty coder), and client asked for some heavy modifications. Dating site had also bugs and some of them are still not sorted out. Video sharing site was an easy job. In this whole week of continuous work, even my new dual core system had a breakdown yesterday night and then I realized that I need even bigger PSU. Ordered a 500W monster and now everything is cool n quite. After all this done, I need some break!!

At childhood, I was thin and people used to ask me that why I am so thin and even my parents consulted doctors about it. As I already wrote much about my older system which started giving trouble, so I got a new system and this time I didn’t go for a branded one and got it assembled. The new system configuration is:

CPU: AMD Athlon X2 4800+ Socket AM2
Motherboard: ASUS M2A-VM HDMI
Hard Disk: Western Digital 250GB Caviar SATA II
RAM: 1 GB DDR2 Kingston
Cabinet: Zebronics (Laxman)
Power Supply: Powersafe 450Watts
Optical Drive: ASUS DVD Writer

At least now I don’t get frustrated working with heavy applications like adobe photoshop and can also play some games. Best feature I got from this ASUS board that it got a HDMI output, so now I can watch those DivX movies on larger screen of TV. At last I got rid of that boring Pentium 4. Playing game (yes there is still a kid in me) on PC by connecting it to TV and using a Controller gives almost the same experience as that of consoles like playstation.

At least not with my computer this time but my friends Waseem who have the same HCL computer like me got corrupted HDD problem after uninstalling Vista transformation pack. This is one of the crap pieces of software with which everyone had a problem and now I think hardly anyone is willing to install it after so many problems associated with it. Waseem called me telling about his problem and he needed assistance for a backup but more bad time and it started raining. After rain stopped, I connected his HDD to my PC and made a backup. The C partition was somewhat corrupt and giving errors on copying files, however his critical files got saved anyhow. I found about 15 divx movies on his drive and all were so good that I made one copy of each of them for myself to watch them later (oops tat’s piracy) !
