My friend Junaid was coming to my house yesterday and after parking his car in front of my home, he turned to open the gate and suddenly he heard a loud noise. There was no sign of damage on left side of car but when he saw the right side, he was shocked. The tractor which was coming from behind banged the trolley into his car. Tractor driver didn’t stop and disappeared from the spot while Junaid was just looking at his car with shock. These days his car is in workshop and getting repaired, its taking several days. Yesterday I went to see the condition and took a test drive after some repair done. The car was slightly drifting on right side so something still needs to be fixed. I felt really bad, the car used to drive so well before, Junaid was almost crying that day.

From the days of school, there was a friend Nitin with whom I can talk about bikes, electronics, computers, games and everything of my interest. Both of us had same hobbys and we had a great time but he got admission at some college in Delhi and he is gone. Then there was a friend called Sharif, he was totally an auto and mobile freak! You can talk with him about cars and mobiles all day. He got admission at some college in Kolkata and he is gone too. Atif who is again in electronics but he is in Jhasi. Then finally my friend Waseem who was in computer and blogging like me also got admission and going Delhi. So only two friends are left, Akil and Junaid. Akil is very studious and Junaid is business minded, they both talk of their fields and I get bored.

Today at once my friend Akil planed to go exhibition with other friends. I called my friend Waseem too and we all gathered at Akil’s hostel for going together. I and Waseem were on bike and Akil and his friends were on rikshaw. There was no match in the speed so I said to Akil that call me when he reaches Exhibition and tell his location and we will meet there. At first I received his message asking where I am. I called him but damn all the networks were jammed! Due to Sunday, many people came to exhibition that there was so much crowed and noise that I could hardly walk freely. I tried to call Akil and message but line was always busy. At last we all returned our home and then Akil called me and he was feeling sad of our plan failure. I was feeling bad too, I told him that we will go some other day and this time choose a day in which there is not much rush.

My friend Atif purchased a laptop recently from Dell, he was confused on which OS to keep. It was shipped with Vista basic but it was casing problem, though he tried XP for few days but again switched back to Vista. Now as his laptop was new, there was no ‘maal’ in it! From word “maal” I refer to those huge collections of mp3’s and DivX movies. Atif has told me few days back that he somehow need to fill enough goodies for months of entertainment. So whenever it comes to getting this ‘maal’, I contact my friend Waseem whose PC is always stuffed with good DivX movies and songs. Atif and Me went to Waseem’s home and tried to connect laptop with his PC via WiFi but were not successful. Then we tried using LAN cable but again the Vista was causing problem and not detecting the PC. After hours of tinkering here and there we were successful. Then started the huge file transfers which took an hour, we transferred about 35GB of data to laptop in an hour I think.

My friend Akil was leaving for Delhi and he needed to buy some books also so he decided to go to his bank’s ATM for withdrawing some money in a hurry. He found that ATM was not working so asked the bank if there is any other ATM or anyhow he can withdraw money. The bank said that there is only one Allahabad bank ATM and its dead since three days! Such a shame! A bank can’t afford to have multiple ATM’s in a city. Anyways I told him to use his ATM card in any other bank ATM and it will let him withdraw and only small fees will be deducted. But the bank is so stupid that their ATM cards are made to work in their own ATM machines. His account is from another branch so he can’t even withdraw from this bank, this is something ridiculous. This shows that bank don’t have proper communication between there branches. The bank building itself doesn’t look like a bank. I told Akil to open an account in a decent bank like SBI when he return from Delhi and get rid of this bank.
