It was quite a busy day yesterday as I have to complete assignments and some important work with deadline was to be completed yet I didn’t miss the chance to go to any marriage occasions in which my family is invited. Reasons are several. First it’s not good to reject invitations and then the food served is always great! After the marriage ceremony, a kind of feast start and all kind of delicious delicacy’s are served. I feast on biryani and chicken first of all as I like it most and then other items. But I don’t eat much as I don’t want to spoil my next day, you can understand what I mean to say. I end with cold drink if available or coffee. Overall it’s a nice occasion and you feel good as you meet several people there who you know but don’t meet frequently. I met one of my old classmates there and we had a long talk. Formalities like gift etc are all handled by my parents and I keep myself free from that!

I keep adding something to my car when I get time. I had planned to ad a nice and sporty spoiler to my car and give it a fresh look. I asked at the dealer and the price was quite high. Price was not of much factor, the problem was that my car is repainted and the spoiler was available in colors in which the new models of esteem comes. So I went to a car accessories shop at center point and asked if they have a spoiler. He gave me two options, a painted one and other with base paint only. I ordered the spoiler with base paint and got it in 3 days. This spoiler was not the genuine product but what the heck! It has nothing to do with the performance or safety in the car and only a superficial item so I don’t care and it’s good as it was much lower in price. This one got LED brake lights also. I got the spoiler painted with matching color and fitted it tomorrow. Fitting a spoiler is not a big deal; I used a measuring tape to make sure that spoiler is perfectly aligned. This work requires great precision which mechanics don’t care much so I preferred doing this work myself.

Two days I didn’t went to my home construction site and today I saw that it was dug even deeper and wider. I asked the contractor that why it’s so wide and deep? He told that it’s for the concrete pillars which will be filled with concrete and iron rods will be used in it. Some space will be needed for labors to get down and fit the iron rods. The labors are really working hard; I never thought that they can dig it so deep in such a short span if time. These days it’s very windy and the wind is cold due to snowfall in some states. These cold waves causes pain in your ears and the fast blowing wind fills your eyes with sand and dust particles. Not to forget, you also loose your hair style and when you come back home from site, hair is combed in some different and crazy style which I don’t like.

First thing I did in the morning was to go to dental college for that gum swelling problem. I tried to search the old diagnosis papers but they were lost. Got a new one made for Rs.10 and found that today my favorite dentist was not in the OPD. So I went to his office and told about my problem. Any other doctor will show me the way to OPD but he is kind enough to see even if it’s not his day in OPD. He examined for few seconds and prescribed some medicines and told to come after 3 days. I always find those instruments which these dentists put in your mouth very unhygienic. They are well cleaned but still I don’t like so first I go straight to my home and wash my mouth with antibacterial mouth wash. He didn’t tell me anything about the swelling but by looking at medicines I found it doesn’t look a big problem. I am relaxed and just after few hours of taking first dose, swelling is a lot better now and InshaAllah it should be gone within three days.

We wait for it every year, its nothing much of use but still we Aligarians wait for it. It’s the famous Aligarh exhibition which starts from end of January every year. Yesterday me and my friend went to see it and made a video. There is some internet problem and some sites are not opening including YouTube otherwise I would have posted that video, its very funny. Will post it for sure as soon as the internet problem resolves. The items sold in the exhibition are little higher priced but food item is well priced and good. People come here for eating mostly and looking at stuff, not for buying. For me there is nothing which I find like buying and go there for amusement only. When I was small, I used to buy lots of toys from exhibition LOL and they all were of so poor quality that they didn’t last for more than a day or two.

After few days I was so busy that I didn’t have time to take my car to a spin. Today I had thought that I will take it for a long drive and some off road too. Car didn’t disappointed and started instantly even when its cold here and car was not started since a week. Today even when I saw that Rs.1 Lakh car, I am not disappointed because you cannot go off road with that car and it’s just a toy with engine that will look good in bike chassis only.
